Lol - I really really like it - your best yet. I think the cast shadows could be a bit darker and could have a touch of reddish bounce light as they get near the tentacles. Also they could more accurately follow the shape of the tentacles.
However... i really do need to see with these briefs that you have a sound development process with research/ref and sketches- how you arrive at the finished piece. Ok?
