Happy with the result so far, lets see if I wont change it tomorrow

  1. Hey Gustav, I like the design of trees etc, do have feedback though. I'm putting that together right now and will put up a couple of overpaints to show a few ideas. Watch this space :)

  2. Here you go - plenty feedback :)

    The hill line where it meets the sky is a bit hard edged and blocky - you could soften that a tiny bit. Similarly some of the clouds could possibly be a bit softer/less defined

    The value (and the hue) of the fruit is quite high in relative to the trees. Adding a black layer set to saturation can help you judge value, tone and lighting.

    Currently the highest value contrast is the cloud in front of the planet. I think the tree/fruit are the areas of interest/focal points and it would be good to use value, composition etc to draw your eye towards them. I'v e done a couple of quick images to show you what I mean

    Another thing you might find useful is to knock up a quick model of a tree on a tiny bit of landscape in a 3D package to use as lighting/perspective reference.
